How much THC should you start with?
Start with 5–10mg if you're new, and wait a full two hours before taking more. Edibles are metabolized through the liver rather than the lungs, so onset usually runs 30 minutes to 2 hours — much slower than smoking, and much easier to overshoot.

What to check before you buy THC gummies from anyone
This part matters more than which brand you pick. Florida's hemp market has excellent operators and genuinely careless ones, and the difference is visible if you know where to look.
- A current COA you can actually open. Every product should have a third-party Certificate of Analysis, and it should be recent and matched to the batch you're holding — not a two-year-old PDF for a different run. If a shop can't produce one, that's your answer.
- Potency listed per gummy, not just per package. “500mg” on the front of a bag means nothing until you know whether that's 10 gummies at 50mg or 50 at 10mg. Vague labeling is usually deliberate.
